‘Come for the liberty, stay for the pints’

The future of liberty is the subject of a special event in London on Saturday.

Students for Liberty, the organisers, have invited seven speakers - including Chris Snowdon, Mark Littlewood, and me - to take part.

Venue is The Miller, a pub that features regular comedy shows. This, I can assure you, isn’t one of them!

The event start at 4.00pm with former government minister Steve Baker the first to speak.

I understand the speaking part of the event will be three to four hours, but the venue has been booked until 11.00pm, so you do the maths.
