It's a dog's life

Further to our recent visit to Norfolk, I didn't mention that the 'one-of-a-kind' boutique hotel we stayed at was dog-friendly.

In my experience 'boutique' and 'dog-friendly' don't normally go together and although it was in a rural location it was a world away from the country house type of hotel where dogs might be expected to be accommodated.

However the few dogs we saw were no problem at all and I don't remember a single bark or micro-aggression although a black labrador did show an unwelcome interest in the cocktail I was drinking.

When we got home we recommended the hotel to a friend and last week she and her dog Biffy enjoyed their own mini break, as you can see.
